Took a break from school, from the blog. Back from sunny Florida - really - it was bright and sunny all eight days, and in the 80s. Beautiful beaches. Wild alligators. Art, swimming in the gulf, hiking in a state park ranked on of the "ten best" by Backpacker magazine, exploring the botanical gardens and the city. Urban sprawl and tourists (like us) rounded out the experience.
